He clearly said that Prime Minister Modi and the insensitive BJP government will not be impressed by Sonam Wangchuck’s fast, we will support G.D. who was on fast unto death for more than 100 days for the cleanliness of Ganga. Have seen the fate of Aggarwal, after whose death the Prime Minister tweeted only as a formality. He said that this insensitive government will bow down only when the youth of the country take to the streets. Showing solidarity against this injustice, Sanjay Singh has announced that on July 20, the Uttar Pradesh unit of Aam Aadmi Party will take Sonam Wangchuk’s struggle to the people through widespread demonstrations and agitation in every district.
Sonam Wangchuk, Ladakh’s sentinel and inspiration for ‘3 Idiots’, is battling death at Jantar Mantar.
Sanjay Singh said that ‘The summer is still there, only the hunter is a part of sin, time will write the crimes of those who are neutral.’ He reminded that Sonam Wangchuk is the same person on whose life the film ‘3 Idiots’ was made and who created a revolutionary school in Ladakh for the education of vulnerable children. He invented a special tent that provides protection for Indian Army soldiers even in -20 degree temperatures. Today, the same patriot has been fasting for the rights of the youth for 17 days, his weight is decreasing and his condition is worsening, but his courage is unwavering.

93 paper leak, NEET rigging and Agniveer scheme ruined the future of crores of youth.
Sanjay Singh linked Sonam Wangchuk’s fast to the future of crores of youth of the country whose lives have been ruined by corruption. He said that till now 93 papers have been leaked in the country, due to which the dreams of the youth have been shattered. The rigging of NEET examinations and the 4-year ‘Agniveer’ scheme brought by abolishing the permanent jobs of the army have pushed the youth into darkness. Sonam Wangchuk is standing at Jantar Mantar as a strong voice for the rights of those youth.

The silence of ‘Godi Media’ and the insensitivity of the government on Sonam Wangchuk’s fast is fatal for democracy.
MP Sanjay Singh targeted the mainstream media and said that the soul of the so-called ‘Godi Media’ is dead. Under pressure from the government, no national TV channel is showing the news of Sonam Wangchuk sitting hungry for 17 days. He said that both media and government have become slaves of Modi ji. If today the youth of the country do not come out on the streets and support Wangchuk, then this silence will prove to be a crime for the coming generations.
Professor G.D. BJP MPs and MLAs should also listen to their conscience so that they do not meet the same fate as Aggarwal.
Attacking the Prime Minister, Sanjay Singh reminded that Professor G.D. Aggarwal had fasted for more than 100 days for the cleanliness of Ganga, but Modi ji’s heart did not fail. After his death the Prime Minister tweeted only as a formality. He asked BJP MPs and MLAs whether their children’s papers are not leaked? They also need to rise above party politics and listen to Sonam Wangchuk and put pressure on their own government.
Opposition united against politics of insensitivity and trolling
Sanjay Singh said that Sonam Wangchuk’s struggle is getting wide support from the opposition parties. He said that when leaders like Aam Aadmi Party, John Brittas (CPIM), Dipankar Bhattacharya (CPIML), Pushpendra Saroj (SP), Uddhav Thackeray and Arvind Kejriwal go to extend support, BJP trolls make fun of them. He clarified that it is the responsibility of the leaders to raise their voice on sensitive issues and they are not going to step back fearing abuses and criticism.
