New Delhi: A teenage girl who hurled abuse at Prime Minister Modi at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar has sparked a fresh controversy after she apologized. Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut shared the girl’s video on Instagram, questioning the “political mindset” of young people and urging parents to protect their children.

Kangana shared a screenshot of the girl apologizing, writing that she is only 15 years old. The girl said she never posted anything against Modi, but that her friends led her there that day and provoked her. Kangana further said, “Protect your children from evil feminism and demonic leftist ideology. We have to protect our children.”
He also said, “Note that no girl wearing a scarf or burqa did such an indecent act, but our daughters can be easily misled. We have to introspect and ensure the safety of our daughters.”

Noida police filed an FIR against a woman who made derogatory remarks against PM Modi during a CJP (Cockroach Janata Party) protest regarding the NEET paper leak. A video of a 15-year-old girl apologizing in connection with the same case went viral on social media.
CJP founder Abhijit Dipke warned that if the FIRs against the students are not withdrawn, protests will resume and the next movement will be even bigger. “If necessary, we will take to the streets,” he said.
PM Modi’s response
Seeing the controversy escalating, Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded via video on Saturday night. He justified people’s anger over the language used during the protests, but stressed the need for reform rather than punishment.
Modi said, “I want to forgive them. Society should also accept this. Sometimes the tongue gets stuck between the teeth and bleeds, yet we do not break the teeth. These children are also ours. We should show them the right path.”
Following Kangana’s statement and the PM’s appeal, a heated debate has erupted on social media. On one hand, there are issues of “political indoctrination” and “child safety,” while on the other, there’s the controversy surrounding protests and the FIR.
