RTI activist Amit Tiwari in Surat, Gujarat said, “I have filed a complaint at three different places. The first complaint is against CJP in the Election Commission (ECI). The second complaint is in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). In this, I have demanded that 18% GST should be imposed on the funds worth crores of rupees announced by Kapil Sibal. Apart from this, I have also complained to the Maharashtra government. My complaint is that Bhagwanrao Dipke was a junior engineer in MIDC. If his If the salary was 60 to 65 thousand rupees, then how did he bear the expenses of his children’s education in America? There should be an investigation in this matter and if a case of disproportionate assets is found then strict action should be taken against him.
As far as CJP is concerned, if it is functioning like a political party and taking donations from the people, then it will have to be registered as a political party under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. We have demanded that action should be taken against CJP for taking funds of Rs 1 crore without registration.
We respect our elders. As long as CJP was agitating only on the NEET issue, there was no problem. But the kind of objectionable language used during the movement regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his late mother and his relations with foreign leaders is wrong. We have also complained about all these matters.”
