US President Donald Trump had planned a deadly attack on Iran over the weekend. Israel was his partner. But he has canceled that plan. The US president announced this on Sunday. He claimed that Iran agreed to a deal with America. Therefore, the attack plan was canceled at Tehran’s request. After that, the question arises, will the war stop this time?
Trump wrote on his social media account Truth Social, “According to the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be completely open. Iran’s nuclear program will also be stopped. Iran and the Middle East countries have requested that we suspend our plans for new military operations. Because Tehran has agreed to the agreement.” He added, “For the sake of the future of the world and to protect the existence of Iran, I have ordered the attack on Tehran to be canceled.” However, the US president has made it clear that if the agreement is not signed quickly, he will start attacking Iran again.
However, Trump did not stop threatening even after suspending the attack. He said, “America is now fully prepared and equipped to take action against Iran. Such military power from Washington has not been seen since World War II.” Trump said that Israel will also join in finalizing the agreement with Iran. This agreement will end the five-month war. Although Tel Aviv has not yet opened its mouth on the whole issue.
Meanwhile, although not publicly, Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei gave a message to the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah a few days ago. He advised them to increase their attacks against Israel. Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, Mojtaba’s message was, ‘There is no other way except jihad and resistance.’ Iran’s Supreme Leader praised the bravery of Hezbollah fighters. He said, “It is Iran’s responsibility to protect Lebanon’s geographical integrity. Hezbollah is the only one standing like an unshakable rock in the face of Israeli attacks.”
