Channi said that Madan Lal Jalalpur is not just a leader, but an experienced and dedicated Congress worker. He recalled that Jalalpur was elected MLA from the Ghanaur assembly seat twice and played a key role in the electoral victories of former MP Preneet Kaur and Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi. He said that he would personally raise this issue with Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and the Congress high command.
