India’s young badminton star Tanvi Sharma has created history by winning the women’s singles title at the Taipei Open Super-300 tournament. In addition, former world junior number one Tanvi is the first Indian to win two medals in a single season of the World Junior Championships. Tanvi reached her first Super 300 final at the 2025 US Open at the age of 16, but she failed to make it to the tournament.
