According to information received, the accused person used offensive and vulgar words against Union Home Minister Amit Shah on a popular social media platform like Facebook, which could have disrupted public peace. As soon as the post went viral on the internet, the police administration was informed, following which the cyber cell and local police stations immediately took cognizance of the matter. The police, either suo motu or based on a complaint, immediately initiated legal proceedings and began a crackdown on the accused.
