Dimple Yadav came to Jantar Mantar in support of Sonam Wangchuk, joined the protest with SP MPs

New Delhi. Jantar Mantar of the capital Delhi has once again become a witness to a major political and social movement. Samajwadi Party (SP) has now openly come into the field in support of the agitating environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk. Samajwadi Party’s senior leader and MP Dimple Yadav arrived today to participate in the protest organized at Jantar Mantar. Along with him, many other respected MPs of SP were also present, who announced their full support to Sonam Wangchuk’s movement.

Actually, today is the 19th day of Sonam Wangchuk’s fast and concern is being expressed across the country regarding her deteriorating health. Meanwhile, the arrival of Dimple Yadav and senior SP MPs at Jantar Mantar is being considered as a big booster dose for this movement.

Dimple Yadav raised her voice from Jantar Mantar

Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav, who attended the protest organized at Jantar Mantar, made it clear that Samajwadi Party will always be ready to protect democratic rights. Along with him, many other SP MPs including Moradabad MP Ruchi Veera and Rampur MP Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi were also seen united on the stage. SP MPs raised questions on the attitude of the Central Government and said that the fast has been going on for so many days on a serious issue, but the silence of the government is surprising.

In fact, since the elections, the newly elected MPs of SP have been seen quite aggressive from Parliament to the streets. This united style of SP leaders at Jantar Mantar is being considered very important even amidst the local level political movements.

Political temperature rises on 19th day of Sonam Wangchuk’s fast

The demands were raised prominently during this strike. The leaders from the stage pointed out how Sonam Wangchuk has been on hunger strike for the last 19 days in very difficult circumstances. SP MPs said that on one hand such a huge sacrifice is being made to save the future, and on the other hand the government is shying away from communicating. From this platform of Jantar Mantar, deep concern was expressed regarding the health of Sonam Wangchuk and a warning was given that if no concrete steps are taken soon, this movement will take a bigger form.
