Indian gangster in the clutches of FBI, accused of many crimes including murder-kidnapping
Washington. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has started tightening the noose against Indian gangsters. The FBI said that gangster Nitish Kaushal has been arrested.
The Bureau had earlier included his name in its most wanted list. He is accused of being involved in crimes like murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking, extortion, arms smuggling, money laundering and human trafficking.
Federal Bureau of Investigation shared information in ax handle that gangster Nitish Kaushal has been arrested in Vermont on Thursday.
The FBI is appealing to the public to help it locate other fugitives wanted for crimes related to the criminal activity it is investigating. The FBI on Tuesday declared Nitish Kaushal an operative of an international criminal organization.
According to the Bureau, this organization is active in crimes like murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking, extortion, arms smuggling, money laundering and human trafficking.
This organization flourished in Punjab, India and later began working in the Central District of California and elsewhere. Gangster Nitish Kaushal, who was caught by FBI, has been working for Bhagwanpuria gang.
FBI said that Nitish is an Indian citizen. The US District Court of the Central District of California in Los Angeles had issued an arrest warrant against Nitish Kaushal on June 25. This action of FBI has been taken under ‘Operation Hard Ball’.
