He stated that the majority of those present at the protest were unemployed puncture repairers and locksmiths.
Ramesh Bidhuri stated that the people present at Jantar Mantar were fewer students than unemployed. He alleged that thousands of children were lured into the protest. He also stated that those using such language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not be real students.
Also raised questions about the NEET movement
The former MP stated that the protests held in the name of NEET emotionally affected parents and the public by displaying photographs of dead children. According to Ramesh Bidhuri, the protests lacked any concrete demands regarding the education system, and the main demand was the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Ramesh Bidhuri alleged that the movement had deviated from its stated objective. He said that the Prime Minister accepted the demands in a timely manner so that the country would not be plunged into confusion and chaos. He claimed that the movement was launched with the support of the opposition with the intention of spreading chaos in the country.
Only 15-20 percent were students
The former MP also said that the people present at Jantar Mantar were misguided and used abusive language. He claimed that only 15 to 20 percent of the protesters were students. He also alleged that people were brought from Seelampur, Jafrabad, Saharanpur, and other areas of Uttar Pradesh and were asked to come wearing sacred threads, not skull caps.
