Google is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone series, the Pixel 11. The company’s Made by Google event will reportedly be held in New York on August 12th, while it will be available in India on August 13th. While Google has not yet officially revealed the specifications and pricing of the Pixel 11 series, reports and leaked posts are providing information about several key features.
These four models may be launched
According to reports, Google may introduce four smartphones in its new series this time. These could include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. This is expected to provide customers with a variety of options for different budgets and needs.
In terms of design, the new series is unlikely to see major changes. Google may retain its signature camera bar design. However, the Pixel 11’s camera module may come in an all-black finish instead of a dual-tone finish. Additionally, the display bezels are expected to be thinner than before, giving the phone a more premium look.
What will the Pixel 11 series feature?
According to leaks, the Pixel 11 series may feature the Samsung M16 OLED display panel. This new panel is believed to offer better brightness and a better viewing experience, while consuming less power. Google’s new Tensor G6 processor is also expected for performance in all models. This chipset is expected to deliver improved speed and good battery life. Furthermore, Google may place a special emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) features this time around, introducing several new AI tools related to camera, productivity, and user experience.
Storage and Price
Storage may also see significant changes. According to reports, the company may remove the 128GB base variant and make 256GB storage standard. This means that each model in the Pixel 11 series could come with at least 256GB of internal storage. Google hasn’t yet shared any official pricing information.
However, due to the rising cost of memory chips and the increased storage, a price increase is expected this time around. It’s estimated that the Pixel 11 could start at a starting price of ₹79,999 to ₹84,999. The company may also open pre-orders for the series alongside the launch.
