1. Magic hair pack of curd and lemon
Curd contains lactic acid which deeply cleanses the scalp, while the citric acid in lemon helps in eliminating dandruff from the roots. To use it, mix the juice of half a lemon well in 4 to 5 spoons of fresh curd.
Apply this paste on the scalp and leave it for 20 minutes and then wash it with a mild shampoo. Keep in mind that if there are wounds or irritation due to itching on the scalp, avoid using lemon.
2. Coconut Oil and Camphor Massage
Coconut oil provides internal nourishment to the hair and camphor is very effective in soothing scalp fungal infections and itching. For use, grind a little camphor in 2 spoons of lukewarm coconut oil and mix it.
Massage the scalp gently with this oil. After about half an hour, wash the hair with mild shampoo. Using it once or twice a week provides rapid relief from dandruff.
3. Use of fresh aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel helps in keeping the scalp hydrated and maintaining moisture balance. Apply fresh aloe vera gel directly on the scalp and hair to reduce irritation caused by greasiness during monsoon. Let it dry for 25 to 30 minutes and then wash your head with cold water and mild shampoo. With its regular use, hair becomes very soft and shiny.
4. Fenugreek seeds strong hair pack
Fenugreek seeds contain abundant amounts of protein and nicotinic acid, which prevent hair fall and strengthen them from the roots. For this, soak fenugreek seeds in water overnight and grind it in the morning to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on your scalp and roots for 30 minutes. After this, clean the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water and sulphate-free shampoo.
5. Neem water rich in anti-bacterial properties
Neem is known for its medicinal and anti-fungal properties. To remove fungal infections and dandruff of the scalp during monsoon, boil neem leaves thoroughly in water for 10-15 minutes.
When the water cools down, filter it and after shampooing, wash your hair with this water for the last time. Using it once a week keeps the scalp completely clean and healthy.
