Amitabh Bachchan returns as host for the new season, which introduces the theme “Sochna Padega,” encouraging thoughtful choices in an era where information is readily available.
The new season will focus on the importance of thinking, understanding, and using knowledge instead of just giving the correct answers.
With this season, the makers want to highlight that true knowledge goes beyond having information; it comes from interpreting it, drawing meaningful connections, and critical thinking.
Sony Entertainment has unveiled three new promos starring Amitabh Bachchan to introduce the season’s theme.
Each one highlights how the way people seek and use knowledge has changed, emphasizing that the best answers often come from thoughtful reflection.
“These days, you can find answers everywhere; even right in your pocket. Don’t get it? I mean, on your phone. That’s why, this time around on KBC, we’ve tried to change things up a bit: simply remembering the answer won’t cut it anymore. You’ll actually have to think about it. Yes, you’ll have to think,” the 83-year-old Indian actor stated in the first promo.
In the second promo, the makers make it clear that memorized facts alone won’t guarantee success this season.
“Knowledge of geography, history, and science won’t be enough for KBC this time. Because the game has changed. Simply remembering the answers won’t cut it… You’ll have to think… Yes, indeed,” the Sholay star explained in the second promo.
The third promo highlights how the show’s new format reflects today’s rapidly evolving world of technology.
“AI has transformed the world today, and this change is unstoppable. What seemed impossible until yesterday is now becoming possible in an instant. And in this changing world, we too must adapt; that is why we have tried to make some changes to KBC as well; now, before answering, you will… yes… have to think,” Amitabh further remarked.
The new season is set to debut on August 10.
