Big claim regarding Airtel Unlimited 5G Data: Internet will not work on other devices from Hotspot? Know the whole matter
Recently a new report has come out regarding Airtel Unlimited 5G Data. Many users have complained that they are not able to share their unlimited 5G data through Mobile Hotspot. After this, screenshots of Airtel’s alleged Terms and Conditions started going viral on social media and many online platforms, in which it was claimed that sharing of Unlimited 5G Data is not allowed through Hotspot.
However, sources related to the matter told Gadgets360 that no such condition is currently available on the official website of Airtel. Not only this, no such mention has been found on the company’s Terms and Conditions page also.
What do the reports say about Unlimited 5G Data on Mobile Hotspot?
According to several media reports, Airtel’s alleged terms and conditions state that the Unlimited 5G Data Offer is for personal and non-commercial use only. The viral screenshot also claimed that customers cannot share unlimited 5G data through Mobile Hotspot.
However, no such official information is currently available on Airtel’s website. In such a situation, the screenshot going viral has not been confirmed.
Airtel is moving towards 5G Advanced
It is noteworthy that in November 2025, Airtel had announced that it is transitioning its existing 5G customers to Dual-Mode 5G Network (NSA + SA). According to the company, this step is considered important towards the adoption of 5G advanced technology in India.
Airtel removed entry-level postpaid plan
Meanwhile, Airtel has also quietly made changes to its postpaid portfolio. The company has removed the ₹549 postpaid plan from its website and Airtel Thanks App.
Now the ₹449 postpaid plan is the cheapest postpaid option on Airtel’s website, followed by the ₹699 Family Plan. Apart from this, no changes have been made in the remaining postpaid plans of the company at present.
