In an interview with Nidhi Vasandani, Somi Ali said, “I messaged Salman Khan on his private number. I told him that it is not time yet. Go to Bishnoi Samaj temple and apologize for whatever you have done wrong. Everything will be fine. But he did not listen to me.”
Somi said that she had appealed not only to Salman but also to the Bishnoi community. She said, “Killing Salman will not bring back your black deer. I plead with folded hands, please forgive him. I tried my hardest, but I didn’t get any response from him.”
After this she made some more serious claims about Salman. “He won’t let me go. After the shooting incident outside the Galaxy apartment, he went to Dubai and met my half-sister there. He is always looking for opportunities to be in touch with me. He won’t stop chasing me till I die,” claimed Somi Ali. Also, “Salman is the biggest miser,” she added.

In 1998, Salman Khan was accused of poaching two blackbucks in Jodhpur, Rajasthan during the shooting of the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. The case sparked a major controversy as the Bishnoi community considers blackbuck sacred.
In 2018, a Jodhpur court convicted Salman Khan and sentenced him to five years in prison. He was later granted bail and the case is still sub judice. Salman has also received several alleged death threats over the years due to this case.
