Amit Rai said that he has written the story of the film and the proof of his authorship is the certificate of the Screenwriters Association, on which his name is mentioned.

While expressing his views, Amit Rai compared the film to a child. He said that he has done the work of writing, producing and promoting this film.

He said that this may be Paresh Rawal’s personal opinion, but he has all the necessary documents regarding the story and writing of the film.

Ashwin Varde called the allegations false

The film’s co-producer Ashwin Varde also rejected Paresh Rawal’s allegations. He said that when Amit Rai came to him with the story, he felt that it was a story related to the format of ‘OMG’.

According to Ashwin, Amit Rai had told that Paresh Rawal had advised him to keep the story close to the format of ‘OMG’.

Ashwin Varde claimed that the rights of ‘OMG’ are with Akshay Kumar. He said that when Amit Rai talked to Paresh Rawal about this, he claimed that he had the rights.

Ashwin said that trying to use someone else’s property was wrong and for him it was no less than theft.

Why did Ajay and Salman refuse the film?

Paresh Rawal had said in his interview that he had first approached Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan for Akshay Kumar’s character.

On this, Ashwin Varde said that both the actors knew that this was a film of ‘OMG’ franchise and its rights were with Akshay Kumar, hence they refused to do the film.
