Washington Sundar out of Lord’s ODI

26-year-old Indian star all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of Lord’s ODI due to hamstring injury. He got injured while batting in the second ODI match played in Cardiff. He got strained in his right hamstring while taking runs during India’s innings. BCCI issued a media advisory saying that Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the ODI series against England due to a hamstring injury.

This player got a chance

Harsh Dubey has been included in the team as his replacement for injured Washington Sundar. This left arm spinner recently made his international debut in the ODI series against Afghanistan. Harsh took 3 wickets for 47 runs in 5 overs in his debut match itself. He has played a total of 2 ODI matches for India so far, in which he has taken 4 wickets.
