Rahul Gandhi angry over Sonam Wangchuk being lifted from the protest, said such a big thing for PM Modi!
The political temperature has once again risen in New Delhi. The opposition has opened a front against the central government after the peacefully protesting environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk was forcibly removed from Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. On this entire incident, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has made a very sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi termed this action of the government as undemocratic and said that the present government is trying to suppress the voice of truth and peace.
Actually, Sonam Wangchuk was sitting on hunger strike in Delhi for the last few days. Soon after he was removed from the protest site, Rahul Gandhi shared a post on social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter).
He wrote, “The main principle of Modi government is untruth and violence. It is completely wrong to remove Sonam Wangchuk ji from Jantar Mantar when she was on a non-violent hunger strike.”
