Nissan Tekton Acenta Second Base Variant Walkaround: Is It The Most VFM Variant? [Video]
The detailed walkaround video of the Nissan Tekton Acenta has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that the Nissan Tekton is slightly more expensive than the comparable Duster Evolution variant. He highlights that the Tekton Acenta starts at Rs 11.79 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 14.99 lakh. As for the Duster Evolution, it starts at Rs 11.69 lakh, making it Rs 10,000 cheaper.
Soon after the pricing and the introduction, the vlogger starts to show the exterior design of the Tekton Acenta. He mentions that, according to him, the Tekton looks better in terms of the overall design. He adds that the Patrol-inspired design gives it a more premium and classy appearance. However, when compared to the higher variants, it misses out on the connected LED DRLs at the front.
The Duster does not get connected LED DRLs on the top-of-the-line variants as well, so the Evolution variant does not look very different from the higher variants. Next up, he adds that the Tekton Acenta comes equipped with inverted L-shaped LED DRLs and reflector-based LED headlights. It also gets a gunmetal grey skid plate, and its bumper also looks bolder and feels more solid.

Next up, he opens the engine bay of this SUV. He highlights that the Tekton Acenta is offered with two engine options and two transmission options. These include the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol, which makes 100 PS and 166 Nm of torque, and it comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the bigger and more powerful 1.3-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol, which makes 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, comes with the DCT gearbox.
When compared to the Duster Evolution, the same 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine gets both manual and DCT gearbox options. Additionally, he also compares the pricing of the Duster Evolution 1.3 turbo with DCT with the Tekton Acenta DCT with the 1.3 turbo petrol engine and highlights that the Tekton is Rs 50,000 more expensive.

Next up, the vlogger then shows the side profile of the Tekton Acenta. He highlights that this particular variant comes equipped with 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. Meanwhile, the Duster Evolution gets proper alloy wheels. Apart from these, it also gets the same hidden rear door handles and integrated roof rails.

After the side, the presenter then moves to the rear end of this SUV. He mentions that, unlike the Duster Evolution, it misses out on LED taillights. However, it does get a rear wiper, washer, and defogger setup. It also gets a roof-mounted spoiler and shark-fin antenna.

Following the exterior design walkaround, the vlogger then shows the cabin of the Tekton Acenta. He mentions that the overall cabin layout is the same as the Duster. This includes the driver-oriented dashboard with the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, smaller digital instrument gauge cluster, manual air conditioning system, and fabric upholstery.
He adds that, unlike the Duster, the Tekton gets leatherette on the door pads and the central armrest at the front. Apart from this, the Tekton misses out on cruise control, which the Duster gets. Overall, the cabin space of the Tekton is identical to the Duster, and it can comfortably seat 4 adults and 1 child.
