Punjabi Singer Juss Faces Plagiarism Allegations as Fans Compare ‘Behgaya’ to BTS Jung Kook’s ‘Seven’ and ‘3D’
Punjabi singer Juss has landed in the middle of a social media controversy after fans accused him of copying visual elements from BTS member Jung Kook’s hit solo music videos Seven and 3D. The allegations surfaced after viewers noticed similarities between Juss’ latest release, Behgaya, and the K-pop star’s globally popular videos, triggering widespread debate online.
The controversy has gained momentum across social media platforms, with BTS’ ARMY sharing side-by-side clips highlighting what they believe are nearly identical scenes, camera angles and visual concepts. While some fans described the resemblance as inspiration, others argued the similarities were too significant to ignore.
Fans highlight matching scenes and visual style
Several users pointed to scenes featuring a retro-style restaurant, a laundromat setting, rain-soaked sequences and similar shot compositions, claiming these closely resemble moments from Jung Kook’s Seven and 3D music videos.
Many fans criticised the alleged lack of originality and questioned why Juss or his music label had not acknowledged any creative inspiration.
Comments on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube have been flooded with comparisons, with several users urging Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, to take notice of the alleged similarities.
No official response from Juss or his label
As the debate continues to trend online, neither Juss nor his music label has issued an official statement addressing the plagiarism allegations.
At present, the claims remain fan allegations, and there has been no confirmation from BTS’ agency regarding any legal action or copyright concerns.
