Prithviraj’s ‘I, Nobody’ Opens to ₹12 Crore Worldwide Amid Mixed Reviews
With the promise of cinematic magic, the Malayalam film I, Nobodystarring the charismatic Prithviraj Sukumaran, took its first bow in theaters over a bustling four-day weekend. The film raked in a commendable Rs. 5.70 crore in Kerala alone, with Sunday’s contribution standing at Rs. 1.15 crore. However, this wasn’t quite the dazzling debut expected for a star-studded Prithviraj Sukumaran vehicle.
Despite the film’s high expectations, it has faced an array of audience reactions, which seem to have dulled its box office gleam. Forecasts suggest that I, Nobody might pocket between Rs. 8 and 9 crore during its premiere week in Kerala, setting a modest pace towards its ultimate financial goals. The journey, expected to conclude on a rather somber note, continues to unfold.
Beyond Kerala, the movie managed to draw Rs. 2.05 crore across India, tallying its homeland total to Rs. 7.75 crore. Crossing oceans, the film fetched USD 470K (approximately Rs. 4.50 crore) from international markets, pushing its global earnings to a notable Rs. 12.25 crore.
Starry Ensemble Cast
Alongside the magnetic duo of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Hakkim Shahjahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Nishanth Sagar, Nandhu, Noushad Bombay, Jijoy Rajagopal, and Khalid Rahman, each adding their unique flair to the screen.
