Lucknow. Aam Aadmi Party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has strongly condemned the police action taken on the peaceful fast of Sonam Wangchuk. He said that Prime Minister Modi has become so blinded by the arrogance of power that he does not care about the ruined future of the youth and the life of a hunger striker. Sanjay Singh has warned the Central Government that the youth power which is being suppressed today will become the main reason for the fall of BJP’s power in the future.

Sonam Wangchuk’s life at stake, but PM Modi has no time for dialogue

MP Sanjay Singh said that 59-year-old Sonam Wangchuk was on a fast unto death for the last 21 days. He was risking his life to raise the voice of crores of youth whose future has been completely ruined by the 93 paper leak incidents. The irony is that even after 21 days had passed, the Prime Minister of the country did not consider it necessary to talk to him, let alone appeal to him to end the fast. No representative of the government even came to ask why you were intent on sacrificing your life.

Police hooliganism at Jantar Mantar and forcible arrest of Sonam Wangchuk shameful

Sanjay Singh said that today suddenly a heavy police force surrounded Jantar Mantar from all sides and the youth present there were brutally lathicharged. Sonam Wangchuk has been forcibly taken from her fast site and admitted to the hospital. He raised the question whether the right to peaceful protest has also been taken away in a democracy? This is complete hooliganism and abuse of power.

Modi government, scared of Parliament march on 20th, hatched a conspiracy to suppress

Sanjay Singh said that Sonam Wangchuk had called for a Parliament march from the people, youth and public representatives of the country on the occasion of the beginning of the Parliament session on 20th. The Prime Minister feared that this voice would take the form of a big mass movement. Due to this fear, Delhi Police Commissioner was changed overnight so that Sonam Wangchuk could be arrested and this movement could be crushed.

Sanjay Singh directly attacked the Prime Minister and said that Modi ji, so much arrogance is not good. You sometimes crushed the farmers’ movement, sometimes tortured mothers and sisters and now you are beating the youth with sticks. Remember, the youth on whom you are hitting today will uproot your throne. He has appealed to the youth of the country to unite and support Sonam Wangchuk and not let this fight weaken.
