The tournament will be held in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, from July 30 to August 10, 2026. Following the success of the first season, this time the league is being organized on an even larger scale, with many former Asian cricketers once again seen showcasing their prowess on the field.
This year, six franchise teams will participate in the tournament, and matches will be played in the T20 format. Notably, the Asian Legends League has also partnered with Sony Sports Network for broadcast in India for three seasons. This is expected to further increase the popularity of the tournament.

The second season of the Asian Legends League (ALL 2026) will be played in Lusaka, Zambia, from July 30 to August 10. Six teams, including the Indian Royals, Sri Lankan Lions, Bangladesh Tigers, Afghanistan Pathans, Pakistan Panthers, and Rest of Asian Stars, will participate in the tournament. The league will be played in a T20 format, and all teams will be comprised of former Asian internationals.
ALL 2026: Yusuf Pathan, Shakib, and Dilshan to lead the teams
Yusuf Pathan will lead the Indian team, the Indian Royals, this season. Thisara Perera will play for the Sri Lankan Lions, Shakib Al Hasan for the Bangladesh Tigers, Asghar Afghan for the Afghanistan Pathans, and Mohammad Hafeez for the Pakistan Panthers. Sri Lankan legend Tillakaratne (TM) Dilshan will lead the Rest of Asian Stars.
ALL 2026: Ambati Rayudu and several other star players will be featured
The tournament will feature several former international cricketers, including Ambati Rayudu, Naman Ojha, Rishi Dhawan, Upul Tharanga, Isuru Udana, Danushka Gunathilaka, Dilshan Munaweera, Asela Gunaratne, Imran Nazir, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Akmal, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Irfan, Alok Kapali, and Malinda Siriwardana. According to the organizers, the names of more prominent players will be announced in the coming days.
ALL 2026: The league will be played outside Asia for the first time
Asian Legends League (ALL 2026) Commissioner Chetan Sharma stated that the league aims to bring together the heritage and players of Asian cricket. He added that the decision to hold the tournament in Zambia this year was made due to the current geopolitical tensions and logistical challenges in parts of the Middle East. However, this is a one-time decision, and the league is planned to be held in Asia again next season. Known among cricket fans as the “Asia Cup for Retired Players,” the tournament has now established itself as one of the world’s premier Legends Cricket leagues.
