“Now the Modi government will have to answer every single question of the India Alliance,” Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement raised the political temperature.

New Delhi. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge held a crucial meeting on Monday with Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and several prominent MPs from other opposition parties. The leaders of the “INDIA” alliance have formulated a strong and concrete strategy to corner the Modi government on all fronts during the monsoon session of Parliament.

For the past few days, the Congress party has been continuously attacking the central government over the student protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Furthermore, the political temperature has risen significantly following the opposition’s aggressive protests within the Parliament complex recently regarding the Ram Temple donation theft case. The situation is so serious that an FIR has been filed in Varanasi against several prominent opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Pappu Yadav, after the matter escalated.

Kharge launches scathing social media attack, asks tough questions to the government

Following this high-level meeting with opposition leaders, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shared a powerful post on the social media platform ‘X’, strongly targeting the central government. He bluntly stated that the Modi government will now have to directly answer every question raised by the ‘INDIA’ alliance. Furthermore, he directly targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the police’s use of pellet guns against protesting students in Delhi.

In his post, Mallikarjun Kharge demanded that the Home Minister immediately appear before Parliament and explain the brutal lathicharge and use of pellet guns against the students. Immediately afterward, he raised the issue of the Ram Temple and sharply questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kharge said that the Prime Minister should answer the people of the country as to how the theft of the huge donations made for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple was possible, given that the entire Ram Temple Trust operates directly under the Prime Minister’s own supervision.

Demand for Amit Shah’s Resignation and the Opposition’s Tough Stance

It should be noted that Mallikarjun Kharge had previously leveled serious allegations against the central government, accusing it of acting out of vengeance against the country’s youth and students. Last Friday, he even stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should accept Home Minister Amit Shah’s resignation without delay.

Referring to the police use of force against innocent students protesting for their demands in Delhi on July 20th, Kharge said that just 10 days ago, this government brutally suppressed the youth, the future of the country, with batons and pellet guns. During this entire protest meeting and strategy, Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav, Trinamool Congress’s firebrand leader and Mamata Banerjee’s close aide Mahua Moitra, besides all the big leaders of the ‘INDIA’ alliance were present, which clearly shows that the atmosphere inside and outside the Parliament is going to be very tumultuous in the coming days.
