Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift: 10 BIG Changes Detailed

Mahindra Automotive is almost ready to launch the updated 2026 Scorpio-N facelift in India. It will be officially launched on 15th August, on Independence Day, at Mahindra’s annual event. Recently, we have been seeing a number of videos and images of the new Scorpio-N facelift before the official launch, as the company has already started dispatching the units to dealerships across the country. Now, today, we will be sharing all the details of this SUV and all the 10 big changes that have been made to this SUV.

On the outside, Mahindra has not made any major changes to the overall design of the Scorpio-N. It still comes offered with the same front grille, halogen and projector-based LED headlights, C-shaped LED DRLs and other familiar elements. The only big change on the outside will be the addition of a set of new 18-inch five-spoke dark grey and silver-finished alloy wheels. This update, too, will only be offered on the top-of-the-line variants. The lower variants will continue to offer 17-inch steel wheels and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, as in the current model.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is a big SUV, and the company only offered it with a single rear-view camera. However, to add to the convenience of the driver, it has now updated this SUV and will now offer the higher variants with a 540-degree camera. The images show that the SUV now comes with front, side and rear-view cameras, along with parking sensors, to make sure that it becomes easier to park.

Another major update, which a lot of people might glance over in real life, is the offering of new factory-tinted windows. The new Scorpio-N facelift will now get green-tinted windows from the factory, which will help in keeping the cabin of this SUV cooler. This will especially become useful for this SUV, as it has large windows and the cabin gets hot very quickly during hot summers in the country.

The biggest highlight of the interior update is the addition of a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This is the same screen that we see on the newly updated three-door Thar and the Thar ROXX. This screen offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an in-built Alexa voice assistant and Mahindra’s AdrenoX connected car platform. It also displays adventure statistics, telemetry data and other important information.

Another major update is the offering of the 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, which replaces the analogue cluster with an MID. This new and more futuristic instrument gauge cluster will display drive modes, switchable layouts, full-screen navigation, tyre telemetry and others. This screen is also offered on the Thar ROXX.

The current Mahindra Scorpio-N is offered with vertically oriented central air vents. However, this time around, as the screen of the new Scorpio-N is larger, these vents have been placed horizontally underneath the screen. It now also gets a new silver bezel, which adds to the premium appearance. The higher variants will continue to get dual-zone automatic climate control, and the lower variants will come offered with a manual air-conditioning system.

The current-generation Scorpio-N is being offered with a single-pane electric sunroof. It also gets the standard electric shade.
