The Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena took out a rally from Ravan Gate (Kalwad Road) to Collector Circle for the withdrawal of UGC and various demands of the upper caste community. In this backdrop, a large number of people had gathered at Ravan Gate. The police first tried to stop everyone by putting up barricades on the Kalwad bridge. The protesters removed the barricades and marched further. There was also a scuffle between the activists and the police near Chaumun bridge.
