Parliament Monsoon Session: Politics has heated up during the Monsoon Session of Parliament regarding E20 petrol. The opposition is targeting the Modi government on this issue. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav demanded that automobile companies first provide certification on whether E20 can be used. She said she would raise this issue in Parliament.
SP MP Dimple Yadav, who arrived to attend the monsoon session, told the media, “As I’ve said before, this issue concerns people’s faith and their economic well-being, and every issue will be raised. Whether it’s E20 petrol, which is damaging engines and reducing mileage, the government hasn’t yet issued any guidelines clarifying whether automobile companies approve of its use. Either companies should certify that E20, E30, or E40 fuel—which the government plans to introduce in the future—can be used in these engines, or people shouldn’t be forced to use them. Otherwise, it’s adversely affecting the economic condition of ordinary people. This is also an issue that concerns the common man.”
There is a possibility of uproar in the House even today.
The effects of the uproar are still visible in both houses today. In this session, the opposition is busy cornering the government over the ‘police action’ against CJP protesters on July 20, alleged misappropriation of Ayodhya Ram Temple donations, and other issues. Due to which the proceedings of the House have not been able to run smoothly. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and other opposition MPs protested against Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the Makar Dwar of Parliament on Wednesday over these issues.
