For Sargun Mehta, Ramayana isn’t just another big Bollywood film, it’s the culmination of years of hard work, faith, and patience for her husband, Ravie Dubey.
The actor recently accompanied Ravie to the Ramayana trailer launch in Delhi, where the first glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited epic was unveiled. While fans were excited to see Ravie step into the role of Lakshman, Sargun admitted she was too overwhelmed to hold back her tears.
“I can’t stop crying,” says Sargun
Sharing heartfelt moments from the event on Instagram, Sargun poured her emotions into a touching note, revealing that she has been unable to stop crying ever since witnessing this career-defining moment for Ravie. She wrote that her heart was “so full” and thanked God for blessing them with the opportunity. Calling it the reward for Ravie’s years of dedication, she added, “Yeh iskey tapp ka fal hai, Ravi.”
The actress also expressed her gratitude to casting director Mukesh Chhabra for believing in Ravie and making this dream possible.

Ravie Dubey will essay Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious adaptation of the Ramayanastarring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The project has been one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent years, making Ravie’s casting a significant milestone in his career.
