Summerville breaks silence ahead of likely €50m Roma move from West Ham United
Crysencio Summerville posted an enigmatic message on social media, as he is reportedly closer than ever to joining Roma from West Ham United in a deal worth €50m.
This should be worth a total of €50m including add-ons, with West Ham forced to sell after their relegation from the Premier League.
Summerville message has Roma fans hoping
The player broke his silence on Instagram this evening with a post that had the message: ‘Endlessly blessed, forever grateful.’
There was also an Instagram Story with a tattoo that reads: ‘At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen. God’s plan.’
It accompanied a series of images including Summerville on a private jet, where he is returning to Europe from Miami.
He had remained for training and vacation time after the Netherlands were eliminated from the 2026 World Cup early.
With his return to London, it is expected that he should then be re-routed to Rome for medical tests later this week.
Reports in England continue to suggest that Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on the situation, but do not seem prepared to make a firm offer.
