During the tenure of Stephen Fleming, Chennai Super Kings won the IPL title five times and made it to the playoffs for many years continuously. However, after MS Dhoni left the captaincy in 2024, the team’s performance continuously declined. CSK failed to make the playoffs in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
