Attack with sticks due to old rivalry, case registered

Balrampur, correspondent. The old rivalry once again took a violent form in Hariharpur (Ganeshpur) village of Harraiya police station area. A person from the village has been accused of abusing, attacking with sticks and threatening to kill. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused under various sections and started investigation. According to the police, Zuber Ahmed son of Mohammad Naseem, resident of Hariharpur Ganeshpur, told in the complaint given in the police station that he was present in his village at around 3 pm on July 20. Meanwhile, Salim, son of the same village, Lallan, got into a fight with him over an old rivalry. It is alleged that the first accused started abusing using indecent language.

When Zubair Ahmed protested, the accused attacked him with a stick, causing injuries. The victim alleges that during the assault, the accused threatened him of dire consequences and even killed him. After the incident, nearby people reached the spot, after which the matter calmed down. After this, the victim reached the police station and gave a written complaint against the accused demanding action. Inspector in-charge Anil Kumar Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, an FIR has been registered against the accused Salim under relevant sections.

The investigation of the case has been handed over to Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh. An impartial investigation will be conducted on the basis of facts related to the incident site, statements of eyewitnesses and other evidence. Whatever facts emerge in the investigation, further legal action will be taken accordingly. This incident, which took place due to an old rivalry in the rural area, created an atmosphere of tension in the village for some time. However, the police say that the situation is completely normal and the matter is being monitored. Officials have appealed to the people not to take law into their own hands in case of any dispute and maintain peace.
