Hashmatullah Shahidi has announced his resignation as the captain of Afghanistan’s ODI cricket team after almost four years of leading the nation. The 31-year-old Shahidi concluded his tenure, which began in early 2022, on a high note, having led Afghanistan to become one of the most feared giant-killers on the world stage.
