During this entire struggle, Chandrashekhar Azad has also shared a video of himself on social media. In this video, he is clearly seen sitting in his tent just below the statue of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar amidst torrential rain.

While sharing this video, Azad wrote in very strong words, “Every drop of rain is acceptable, but injustice to innocent people is never acceptable. Those who have done this injustice, no matter how powerful they are and no matter how big a power stands behind them, they will have to answer for it.” He further wrote that the thoughts of the great men of the country are the real strength of this long struggle.

What did Chandrashekhar Azad say after sitting on strike?

Immediately after sitting on dharna in the Parliament complex, Chandrashekhar Azad termed this attitude of the police as extremely barbaric. He wrote in his message that when oppression begins to cross its limits, a new sun of change also begins to rise from there. He said that the kind of inhuman and barbaric treatment meted out to innocent boys and girls at Jantar Mantar has shaken his heart to the core.

He further said that he may not have witnessed the Jallianwala Bagh massacre during the British rule, but these scenes that have emerged recently have definitely reminded him of that darkest chapter of history.

Azad stressed that it is the fundamental and constitutional right of every citizen to express his views peacefully in the country’s democracy. If this democratic right is responded to with the use of police force, it is a huge blow not just to some specific people but directly to the basic democratic values ​​of the country.
