The advocate appearing for the petitioner told the court that videos related to police action are available from which the alleged excesses can be seen. On this, Chief Justice Surya Kant said that he is not interested in watching the video and the court does not have time to watch such videos.

CJP organization was protesting at Jantar Mantar (Supreme Court) for many days on the issue of paper leak in NEET and other examinations. During the same movement, Sonam Wangchuk also sat on hunger strike, who was later admitted to the hospital when his health deteriorated. After this the protesters started moving towards the Parliament, where the police used mild force to stop them.

Police also released tear gas shells during the demonstration. Information came to light that many protesters were injured in this incident, while some security personnel were also injured.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the NEET paper leak case. Along with this, the demand for comprehensive reforms in the examination system and compensation to the families of the deceased students is also part of the movement.

Opposition parties also surrounded the Central Government (Supreme Court) regarding this entire incident. Congress Many leaders, including K Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh demonstrated in support of the students and registered a protest against the government.

Earlier, many allegations had also come to light regarding the violence that took place during the demonstration. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court challenging this police action, on which the apex court refused to hear it immediately.
