New Delhi. The meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was concluded today in Ayodhya. Although no new member was appointed in the trust in this meeting, many important decisions related to the operation of the temple were taken. The Trust has reconstituted the religious committee to maintain the traditional authenticity and purity of worship in the temple premises. The committee formed for the selection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust, citing the large number of applications received, asked for an additional time of one month for the selection process, which was accepted. The Trust has also decided to appoint a spokesperson.

Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of the temple trust, has been made the chairman of the religious committee. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Jyotishpeethadhishwar Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati, Madhwapeethadhishwar Swami Vishwaprasannatirtha Ji Maharaj, Mahant Dinendra Das (Nirmohi Akhara), Mahant Kamalnayan Das (Maniram Das Cantonment), Mahant Rajkumar Das (Ramavallabh Kunj), Swami Ramanand Das (Ramkatha Kunj), Swami Mithilesh Nandini Sharan and Yugpurush Swami Parmanand are included in the committee as members. Has been done. After the Trust meeting it was told that it would take a few more weeks to fill the vacant seats of the Trustees.

The Board of Trustees has decided to continue the arrangement of checking the quantity and purity of gold and silver offerings in the temple with the Mint of the Reserve Bank of India. In the meeting, the obligations of the bank under the MOU with the State Bank and the errors of the bank in complying with the same were also discussed. The Board of Trustees has asked the Finance Committee of the Trust to reconsider the relationship with the bank and the standard procedures and take appropriate decisions. It was not discussed due to non-receipt of the final report of the SIT investigating irregularities in the process of calculating the amount of offerings in the temple.
