Jana Nayagan X Review: Mass, Message and Magic! Vijay’s farewell film made fans emotional and thrilled
Jana Nayagan This is Vijay’s last film in his film career, and ‘Jana Nayakan’ makes one thing clear from the very beginning – this film is made directly for his fans and also shows his political image which has become his identity today. From the very beginning of the film, ‘Jana Nayakan’ celebrates star Vijay and establishes him as the political personality he has become today. We meet Vetri (Vijay) in jail, where he is serving a sentence in Madurai for a crime we don’t know about yet. The interesting thing is that it was his mother who sent him to jail. But we see that he is no ordinary prisoner; This is clearly visible from his swag, his dialogues and his dominance over other inmates of the jail.
attempted suicide 20 times
In fact, a prison officer (Nizhalgal Ravi) tells us that attempts were made to kill him 20 times, but he escaped every time. And then comes the line that sums up the impact of Vijay’s character: “Thalapathy is not under our protection. We are under his protection.” Meanwhile, Vetri’s dying mother (Revathi) wants to meet her son for the last time and jail warden Srikanth (Gautham Vasudev Menon) arranges for Vetri to meet her. As a result, Srikanth gets suspended, but he helps Vetri so that he can be released under the annual pardon on 15 August. Now, Vetri develops a deep bond with Srikanth’s daughter Viji (Mamita Baiju) and after the jail warden’s sudden death in an accident, Vetri becomes Viji’s guardian.

A true person hidden behind the star
This passionate relationship between them brings us to another side of Vetri – the true human being hidden behind the star. There are many such incidents related to them in which Vetri comes forward to save them, and at this time Kayal (Pooja Hegde), a journalist in a TV channel, comes into their lives. Vetri’s dream is to make Viji a military officer as this was Srikant’s dream. Does this dream come true? In a separate story, we are introduced to ‘Swasnia’, a fictional country in Africa which is being plundered and ruined by John Himmler (Bobby Deol). Himmler is a dreaded criminal who controls the governments and leaders of many countries including India and Tamil Nadu.
