Sergeant Angela Ramprasad was a resident of Ozone Park in New York City. She belongs to the Guyanese community of Indian origin and her father ‘Basdev Ramprasad’ is a well-known local democratic leader of the area. Let us tell you that Angela was posted in the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command located in Ansbach, Germany and was currently serving at Salti Air Base in Jordan. After this incident, the war situation between America and Iran has become very serious. US President Donald Trump, reacting to this attack, has warned Iran of disastrous consequences. Let us tell you that he has been missing since the ballistic missile attack by Iran. If her death is confirmed, she will be the fourth American soldier to die at this military base.

Expressing deep anger over the damage caused after this attack, President Donald Trump directly challenged Iran on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ and wrote that “Iran will have to pay a huge price for this attack. Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will have to pay many times more for that murder.” The US President further said that America will not tolerate attacks on its soldiers. In this regard, he has instructed top military commanders including US Defense Secretary ‘Pete Hegseth’ and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General ‘Daniel Kane’ to take decisive and strict military action against Iran.

America and Iran on the verge of war

This attack has happened after the complete end of the peace agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) signed between the two countries last month. Responding to this attack, the US Central Command has launched heavy air strikes on Iran’s missile launch pads, drone bases, command centers and military infrastructure. On the other hand, Iran’s President ‘Masoud Pezeshkian’ has also issued a statement in Tehran admitting that the ‘Islamic Republic’ is currently in a situation of a full-scale war with America. Tension in West Asia is currently at its peak and the possibility of a major military conflict from both sides seems to be looming.
