Anna Hazare came out in support of student movement: Wrote a letter to PM Modi, said this big thing about Dharmendra Pradhan

Ahilyanagar. The ongoing movement of students in Delhi has now got the support of senior social worker Anna Hazare. On Thursday, in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, he expressed solidarity with the students by holding a silent protest for about two hours in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. During this time, expressing concern over the police action, he wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and appealed for intervention in the entire matter.

Two-hour silent demonstration-
Anna Hazare’s silent movement started at 11 am and continued till 1 pm. He registered his protest peacefully without giving any speech. After the movement ended, he said that it is his moral responsibility to take the voice of the youth and students of the country to the highest leadership of the country. After this he returned to his village Ralegan Siddhi.

Letter written to Prime Minister Modi-
Anna Hazare, in a letter sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, described the police action against students in Delhi as sad. He wrote that the students’ anger is not just a matter of law and order, but a serious issue related to their future and trust in the system. He appealed to the government to look into this matter with sensitivity and seriousness.

Statement also given on the resignation of the Education Minister-
Anna Hazare said that if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns, it will not weaken the government, but will fix the accountability of the government and strengthen public confidence. According to him, the biggest strength of democracy is accountability and transparency.

Appeal to communicate with students-
Anna Hazare said that lathicharge cannot be the answer to students’ anger. He appealed to the government to find a solution by directly communicating with the students instead of using force. He believes that a permanent solution to the dispute is possible only through dialogue and trust.

Why is the movement happening?
A large number of students are protesting in Delhi demanding paper leak, alleged irregularities in the examination and transparency in the recruitment process. Protesters say the future of millions of youth is being affected by recurring disturbances.

The agitation further intensified after the police lathi-charged and detained several students during the demonstration. After this, the protesters also raised the demand for the resignation of the Education Minister.
