Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special tour package of 9 nights and 10 days to travel to Japan from Delhi . Under this package, passengers can visit some of the famous cities and historical places in Japan. The tour starts from Delhi on September 6 and will take tourists to major Japanese cities like Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima. Passengers will fly from Delhi to Haneda Airport in Japan and return to India after completing the tour on September 15.
How much does the tour package cost?
The package price has been set at Rs 3,45,999 per person on a triple sharing basis. Along with this, a cost of Rs 3,49,999 per person will be charged for twin sharing. If the passenger wants to stay in a single room, it will cost him Rs 4,73,999. A separate price has been fixed in the tour package for children. The tour package with bed for children aged 5 to 11 will cost Rs 2,92,499, while the price without bed will be Rs 2,63,999.
What amenities will be included in the package?
According to IRCTC, this tour package will provide many facilities to the passengers. This includes economy class flight tickets from Delhi to Japan, accommodation in a 4-star hotel and a tourist visa for Japan. Apart from this, the package will also include daily breakfast, lunch and dinner during the trip. Not only this, the cost of local transport from the airport to the hotel and to different places will also be included in this tour package. Tours to major tourist destinations in Japan will be organized in AC buses. Travel insurance is also included for passengers below 70 years of age. A tour guide will be available for information and guidance throughout the journey. Applicable taxes are also included in the package price.
What is the flight schedule?
The tourists will reach Japan by All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight. The flight will depart from Delhi at around 6 pm on September 6 and arrive at Haneda Airport at around 5.55 am the next day. On its return journey from Japan to India, the flight will take off from Haneda Airport at 11.10 am and arrive in Delhi at 4.30 pm. However, IRCTC has said that the flight schedule is tentative and may change depending on the operational requirements of the airline.
What places will be visited in the tour package?
The 10-day tour package will start with a visit to Tokyo. Here, tourists will be taken to famous places like Asakusa Temple, Nakamise Dori Market, Ueno Park, Odaiba and TeamLab Planets. Tourists will also be taken on a tour of Mount Fuji’s Fifth Station (Oshino Hakkai), Owakudani Valley, Hakone Ropeway and Hakone Pirate Ship Cruise. Apart from this, tourists will also visit places like Toyota Museum and SCMaglev Railway Museum in Nagoya, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kinkaku-ji Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, Osaka Castle, Nara Deer Park and Todai-ji Temple in this tour package.
Booking details
According to IRCTC, passengers applying for this tour must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return. It will be mandatory to submit other important documents including PAN card at the time of booking. Apart from this, passengers will have to submit some documents related to their financial status and business to get a visa to Japan.
