Sachin Tendulkar spoke for the first time on student movement, said- no cheating, hard work should win.

Sachin Tendulkar on Jantar Mantar Protest: Former captain of the Indian cricket team and legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his opinion on the student protests taking place at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Tendulkar has said that together we will find a solution that makes the future of children safe and strong.

Sachin Tendulkar wrote on social media platform X, ‘My father was a professor. He was a guide and mentor to many young students. One thing he taught me from the beginning was that failure is okay, but cheating is not. Never take shortcuts.”

Students’ frustrations are understandable

He further wrote, ‘As elders in the society, it is our responsibility to give the right direction to the culture. The society which gives more importance to results rather than hard work, chooses shortcuts instead of ability. Today, when students feel disappointed that their hard work has not yielded results, their frustration is understandable. We must all work together to make sure they never feel like this again.”

Tendulkar wrote, ‘Young India is full of dreams and energy. They are the foundation of our success. As a society, parents, teachers, friends, relatives, schools and administrators, we all have a huge responsibility and different roles to play so that our youth always remain excited and energetic.”

He wrote, ‘We have to create an environment where hard work is appreciated, honesty is encouraged and ability wins. I am sure that together we will find solutions that will strengthen the future of our children and safeguard their hopes. Jai Hind.”
