The situation was quite tense when the opposition MPs left the house. Delhi Police barricaded outside Rahul Gandhi’s residence and stopped the bus from moving. After talks that lasted for a few minutes, the police opened the way, after which the convoy of opposition leaders left for Gandhi Smriti.

After this, Rahul Gandhi targeted the central government and said that students are fighting on the streets for their future, in such a situation it is the duty of the opposition to stand with them. He said, ‘We wanted to go to India Gate first, but we were not allowed. After this we decided to go to Gandhi Smriti, there also we were stopped for some time. Our biggest message is to the students of the country that we are with you and will raise your voice from Parliament to the streets.

At the same time, on this occasion, Priyanka Gandhi said that, we have come to give this message to the government that in this country, Mahatma Gandhi ji had launched a movement along with the farmers and the poor, in which no hand was raised against anyone. But today in the same country, the Modi government is beating children just because they are demanding their rights. Everyone can see how much wrong is happening with the students. Mahatma Gandhi was martyred for democracy and many people were martyred fighting for freedom. Today that democracy is being destroyed in the same country. Were they martyred so that their children are beaten, just because their papers are being leaked and on which they are demanding accountability?
