Mygate launches AI assistant MIRA for Housing Society Management

MIRA, Mygate’s AI-powered intelligence engine, enables management committees and treasurers to access instant answers and actionable insights across community operations and financial management.

Community management platform Mygate has launched MIRA (Mygate Intelligent Response Assistant)an AI-powered suite designed to automate financial and administrative operations for Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and housing societies.

The solution helps committees and treasurers automate vendor invoice processing, payment reconciliation, collections tracking and financial analysis. It aims to reduce manual work while improving operational accuracy and decision-making.

AI Addresses Time-Consuming Community Finance Tasks

According to Mygate, the largest 25% of communities on its platform manage around 700 homes on average. These communities collect more than ₹3.5 crore in annual maintenance and disburse over ₹3.2 crore each year across more than 40 vendors.

Despite handling large financial volumes, many communities still depend on manual processes for invoice verification and payment reconciliation.

During pilot deployments, committees using MIRA reported up to a 70% reduction in the time required to complete routine financial and administrative tasks.

Built-In AI Delivers Instant Financial Insights

Integrated directly into the Mygate platform, MIRA enables committee members to retrieve financial information through natural language queries instead of manually searching records.

The AI assistant can extract data from vendor invoices, reconcile payments, analyse transactions, monitor collections, identify overdue accounts and generate financial insights within seconds.

Mygate said a reconciliation task that previously required around 30 minutes each day can now be completed in less than five minutes using MIRA.

Mygate Focuses on Reducing Administrative Burden

“Managing a housing society is far more operationally intensive than many people realise,” said Shreyans DagaCo-founder and Chief Product Officer at Mygate.

“Committee members are responsible for finances, vendors, collections, compliance and resident queries, often alongside full-time jobs. MIRA automates many of these repetitive tasks, allowing committees to make faster decisions, strengthen financial governance and spend less time on administration,” he said.

Daga added that AI should simplify everyday operations rather than increase complexity, enabling volunteer committees to focus on improving community management.

Expanding AI Across Community Management

The launch reflects Mygate’s broader investment in AI-powered products for residential communities.

The company currently serves more than 27,000 communities and 5.7 million homesprocessing billions of rupees in community transactions every year. Mygate said MIRA will help community leaders improve transparency, efficiency and financial oversight while reducing routine administrative work.

As AI adoption expands across property technology and community management, platforms such as MIRA highlight how automation is moving beyond enterprise software into everyday residential operations.
