Good news for government employees and pensioners: Know this great plan of the government

A very reassuring and useful news has arrived for millions of pensioners across the country. A major and positive change has been observed in the redressal of complaints from Central Government pensioners. The government, in an official statement to Parliament, stated that after the implementation of a modern online monitoring system, the problems of pensioners across the country are now resolved within an average of 21 days. This initiative has led to unprecedented improvements in both transparency and accountability across the government system, eliminating the need for senior citizens to run around offices.

Online system enhances transparency and timeliness

Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh informed the nation about this significant achievement in a written response to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. He explained that the Central Pension Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPENGRAMS) has created a robust digital platform that makes it extremely easy to register any pension-related issue online and monitor it live. Through this modern system, millions of Central Government pensioners are receiving excellent access to prompt resolution of their complaints.

Real-Time Monitoring and Significant Reduction in Delays

According to the Union Minister, under this new digital system, cases are closely monitored in real time by all relevant ministries and departments. The accountability of officials has been significantly increased due to the fixed time limit for each complaint and constant high-level monitoring. The most significant and direct impact of this has been that the previously unreasonable delays in resolving complaints have been completely curbed, and pensioners’ problems are now successfully resolved within an average of just 21 days.

Digital Life Certificate and Seamless Pension

Referring to these modern digital pension reforms being implemented by the government, Minister Jitendra Singh said that the process of submitting a digital life certificate has now been made extremely simple and convenient. As soon as an elderly pensioner submits their digital life certificate online, it is immediately automatically updated in the database of the concerned pension disbursing officers. Due to this fully automated process, the risk of pension payments being blocked or delayed has been permanently eliminated, and pensioners receive their pensions regularly and without interruption.

SMS updates will be provided, increasing transparency

To further improve transparency throughout the system, the government has also introduced a dedicated SMS service within the “Jeevan Pramaan” system. As soon as your digital life certificate is successfully submitted and your pension record is updated, complete information is immediately sent to the concerned pensioner’s mobile phone via SMS. With the introduction of this new system, our elderly have been permanently relieved of the hassle of frequent visits to banks or government offices. They can now easily access all accurate information related to their pension from the comfort of their homes.
