Stock market continues to falter, Sensex falls by 364 points, Nifty weakens by 127 points.

The Indian stock market continued to falter due to the surge in crude oil prices due to the re-emergence of the crisis in West Asia and both the benchmark indices remained in the red for the fourth consecutive day. In this sequence, on Thursday, BSE Sensex fell by 364 points while NSE Nifty weakened by 127 points.
Sensex 363.66 due to drop in marks 76,391.39 off on
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)’s benchmark index Sensex based on 30 shares fell 363.66 points or 0.47 per cent to close at 76,391.39 points. During trading, the index had at one point slipped by 603.07 points to 76,151.98 points. Among Sensex related companies, 11 stocks remained in the green and 19 registered a decline.

Whereas the National Stock Exchange (NSE) sensitive index Nifty based on 50 shares fell by 126.65 points or 0.53 percent and closed at 23,869.60 points. Among Nifty related companies, shares of 19 remained strong while 31 showed weakness.
Adani Ports shares fell the most by 2.26 percent
Among the companies included in the Sensex group, shares of Adani Ports fell the most by 2.26 percent. Shares of Bajaj Finance, InterGlobe Aviation, Axis Bank, State Bank of India (SBI) and Tata Steel were also major losers. On the other hand, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Eternal and Bajaj Finserv were among the gainers.
FII has 819.20 Net sale of shares worth crores of rupees
According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) made a net sale of shares worth Rs 819.20 crore on Wednesday. At the same time, the price of global oil standard Brent crude increased by 4.52 percent to $ 98.32 per barrel.
