Stock market broken due to global pressure, Sensex fell 886 points; Big fall in Nifty also
New Delhi. Due to the sharp rise in the price of crude oil in the international market and weak global signals, there is a huge downward trend in the domestic stock market during early trading today.
Today’s trading also started with weakness. After the opening of the market, buyers also made buying efforts for some time, due to which the movement of both Sensex and Nifty indices was seen improving.
However, this buying phase could not last long. After some time, the sellers put pressure again, due to which the weakness of both these indices started increasing.
After the first one hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, Sensex was trading with a fall of 1.16 percent and Nifty was trading with a fall of 1.07 percent.
After the first one hour of trading, shares of major stock market companies Cipla, HCL Technology, Nestle, Tata Consumer Products and Sun Pharmaceuticals were trading with a gain of 2.56 percent to 0.07 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Shriram Finance, InterGlobe Aviation, Bharti Airtel, Eternal and Bajaj Finance were seen trading with a weakness of 2.78 per cent to 2.08 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,732 shares in the stock market. Of these, 545 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 2,187 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, only one share was in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 29 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure.
Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, four shares were seen trading in green mark and 46 shares were seen trading in red mark. BSE Sensex today opened at 75,708.19 points with a fall of 638.20 points or 0.89 percent.
Shortly after the start of trading, buyers made buying efforts, due to which the index recovered 287.54 points from the opening level to reach the level of 75,995.73 points.
This period of buying in the market could not last long. After some time, selling started in the market, due to which the weakness of Sensex started increasing again.
Due to continuous selling, this index fell to the level of 75,491.82 points. After the first one hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex fell by 886.32 points and was trading at the level of 75,505.07 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty today started trading at 23,666.35 points, falling 203.25 points or 0.85 percent.
Shortly after the market opened, buyers made buying efforts, due to which the index improved by about 100 points from the opening level to reach 23,763.55 points. After this, selling started in the market, due to which the weakness of Nifty kept increasing.
Although the buyers kept trying to create buying pressure from time to time, the selling pressure was so high that none of the efforts of the buyers could succeed.
After the first one hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 23,615 points, slipping by 254.60 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Thursday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 76,391.39 points with a weakness of 363.66 points or 0.47 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Thursday’s trading at the level of 23,869.60 points with a decline of 126.65 points or 0.53 percent.
