Washington: The US has once again attacked Iran amid increasing tension over the shipping route in the Strait of Hormuz. The US military said new attacks were launched on an Iranian military base on Thursday evening. This is the 13th consecutive night of attacks.

The US military says the attacks are aimed at reducing threats to commercial shipping from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and holding Iran accountable. According to media reports, these attacks are taking place amid warnings from President Donald Trump.

Crude oil touched the $100 mark

Earlier, crude oil had reached this level in May. At the same time, American crude also went above $90 per barrel. It is expected that the price of oil may go up to $120.
