Reacher Season 4 is shaping up to be the most ambitious installment in the fan-favorite action-crime drama. In a recent interview, Alan Ritchson hyped up the upcoming season of the Prime Video series and provided some insight into what fans can expect from its action sequences.
Alan Ritchson claims Season 4 is easily ‘better than’ previous Reacher seasons
While speaking with GamesRadar+, Alan Ritchson boldly claimed that Reacher Season 4 will take the action series to a whole new level.
“I would bet my life that this is going to be, by whatever metric you [use], better than anything we’ve done,” he stated.
Ritchson also noted that the fourth season will feature a lot more action than its previous seasons, adding, “I think in the first three weeks we shot more fights than all the other seasons combined.”
Notably, Season 4 will adapt Lee Child’s Reacher novel Gone Tomorrow. The season will see Ritchson’s titular character take on a global conspiracy after witnessing a shocking suicide. Renowned Indonesian singer Agnez Mo will make her debut in the Prime Video show as Lila Hoth, one of the most crucial players in the Gone Tomorrow story.
Talking about the increased stakes in the new season, Ritchson said, “We’re not in Margrave. And it’s fun. It’s always funny, sorta seeing Reacher in these new situations with these new women and how he handles it…I think [Lila’s] secrets and her presence and her pursuit really turned it into something really interesting. Because he doesn’t see it coming at all, and it does put him on his heels in a way that we haven’t really seen, where he’s like, ‘What do I do with this?’”
The 43-year-old actor also hyped up a particular action scene in Reacher Season 4, stating, “It’s kind of a hilarious set piece for something like this, for something gory to take place, but it is probably one of the most epic fights I have ever shot in my career. We even have these great angles where it’s like the old Indiana Jones moments.”
Reacher Season 4 will premiere on Prime Video on August 12, 2026.
