A total of 27 undrafted free agents who reached tentative Exhibit 10 contracts with NBA teams may choose to explore their college options based on a federal court ruling, per Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress (Twitter links).
That ruling, issued by U.S. District Judge Charlotte Sweeney in Denver, made four-year college players from the high school class of 2022 eligible for a fifth season in 2026/27. The ruling is expected to be appealed, so a reversal is a possibility. But in the meantime, several players — including a few unsigned second-round picks — could try to return to the NCAA ranks.

We wrote stories when each of the players listed above reportedly agreed to Exhibit 10 contracts, with the exception of Solomon Washington, who slipped through the cracks. The former Maryland forward agreed to a deal with the Pelicans, his agency announced (via Twitter) in late June.
Former North Carolina State standout Darrion Williams didn’t reach a tentative Exhibit 10 deal with an NBA club like those 27 players, but he’s another undrafted FA who’s currently eligible for a fifth season. He committed to Texas Tech, the school announced (Twitter link), after spending his sophomore and junior seasons with the Red Raiders.
