Where was he born and raised
Sujit Sinha was a resident of Pathra village in the Hussainabad block of Palamu district. However, he was raised in the Shrirampath area of Medininagar. His family includes his elder brother, a sister, and his wife, Riya Sinha. Riya is also in jail on criminal charges, while his mother lives in another city with his elder son. Sujit Sinha first came to prominence in 2007 when two brothers, Anil Singh and Bhushan Singh, were shot dead in Palamu over a tender dispute.

Life sentence after double murder

In 2019, a court in Palamu sentenced him to life imprisonment for the same double murder. According to the police, he had previously served time in jail for a shooting case.
