Know who will get the benefit of this explosive scheme?
Not everyone automatically benefits from this scheme; the government has established certain eligibility criteria. First, the student’s parents must be farmers or registered agricultural laborers. Furthermore, the student must be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
Students’ academic records must also meet established standards. For example, to receive a scholarship at the undergraduate level, UP Board students must have at least 70 percent marks in 12th grade, while for students from other boards, the minimum score is 85 percent. For postgraduate scholarships, a master’s degree requires achieving a minimum set of marks in graduation.
